Dit’ e Nat’, literally translated as Day and Night in English, stays true to its name! This small café offers the coziest and most inviting atmosphere whether you visit it during the day or night (pun intended). Starting from the environment – the lighting, its distinct smell, and the books hanging on the shelves, create all the ‘hygge’ ingredients that everyone in 2017 seems to be obsessed about.
Dit’ e Nat’ is a café-and-bookstore type of place, so people are bound to find more than coffee, freshly brewed teas & vegetarian-friendly brunches… they can also grab their laptops and work, or they can head for a night out when gigs are organized. Oh, I shouldn’t forget about Lule – the Cat, who is a permanent resident of Dit’ e Nat’.
Whether I’m catching up with friends over beers, or I’m deep into university papers during finals week, Dit’ e Nat’ is my go-to place! There is something particularly inspiring about it. Sometimes I believe it has to do with the people who hang out there. Usually they are described as “hipsters” who come up with crazy, unconventional ideas and maybe that’s why Dit’ e Nat’ thrives in energy. Once I met an architect who was designing multi-functional chairs, another time I met a fashion designer who was preparing for a fashion week in New York.
Go! You never know who you might run into, uh and don’t forget to say ‘Hi’ to Lule from me!
