The owner and creator of this unusual souvenir shop Ilire Lepaja had her brilliant dream come true in this hidden but also central spot hidden behind the main government building near Soma Book Station. She is a genuine graphic designer and illustrator and all the items are her creations. There are postcards, canvas tote bags, cushions, pillowcases, scarfs, fridge magnets, mugs, and frames based on traditional motifs, landmarks and cultural heritage of Kosovo and Albania. All the artwork and embroidery there shows that everything is made by someone who loves her culture and adds her passion in her work.
Instead of touristy and shiny souvenirs, I prefer these handmade, original gifts for my family and friends. My favorite souvenirs are the pillowcases and tote bags. The prices are €9 for the bags, €6 for the pillowcases, €6 for the mugs and €2 for the magnets. Each time I see something new there, it makes me keep stopping by out of curiosity.
