In a city that takes pride in macchiatos, lazy mornings and a long lunchbreaks, the competition for cafes is fierce, especially considering how cheap everything is. But Marcus I think stands out — the coffee is just incredible. I only discovered this place recently, but I do not feel that the novelty of this place will fade.
You are surrounded by all sorts of coffee grains and a really long bar made of wood taken from an old granary. You almost have no choice but to drink coffee once inside. You can also have Turkish coffee here, which is consumed in crazy amounts by the locals, but oddly enough I do not really see Turkish coffee being served around coffee shops here. Weird.
You can also buy fresh coffee grains, if you are into brewing your own coffee or just want to take some home. The service is fast and there is almost no queue, considering how packed the place gets.
