Sen5es (5 Senses) was the first restaurant I tried when I came to Prishtina. I have been loyal to it since then for a couple of reasons. First, its warm hospitality made me cling to it. The staff is quite professional and friendly at the same time. Most of them speak a third language in addition to Albanian and English. Some speak Spanish, some Turkish and some German. They are quite humorous when they get to know you better. To me and my friends, it is not only a restaurant but a homelike spot to chill out.
Another reason why I love this place is their special menu. They serve mouthwatering pasta and pizza, in addition to dishes with meat, chicken, roasted vegetables and various salads. Before turning vegan, I was addicted to their carrot cake. For non-vegans I think it is a must. Whatever is ordered, they bring this unique and heavenly appetizer — slices of focaccia with three different dips! My favorite dishes are the oven-cooked vegetables and the spinach salad. They serve draft Prishtina beer together with other bottled beers and a wide range of wines. During the day, it is full of people going there for their delicious coffee, homemade lemonades, and tea.
I love Sen5es, especially in the Christmas and New Year period, as they decorate the restaurant in such a beautiful and colorful way.
It is across the new Prishtina Municipality in Arberia (upper side of the city) so it is easy to find.
