The one, the only, the legend amongst all markets in Riga… well, wait a second… amongst all markets in Latvia. The name is Latgales market or simply how the locals call it using the diminutive Latgalīte. It is a flea market so don’t go there for fresh vegetables or sausages – although I wouldn’t be surprised if it is possible to find some of those things as well.

Basically here you can purchase almost everything, starting from old vinyl records, useful things for your home, many kinds of bicycles and even something from the Soviet army reserves. If you don’t need anything, well, just take a walk between those tradesman and their small and loaded trade tables – you might change your mind.
