4:20 blaze it. Except there is no weed here, just some extraordinary beer and excellent food.
The highlight of Brasserie 4:20 is their burgers: there is no prepared menu, so you have to choose from different types of meat (they offer kobe, smoked angus and chianina to say a few), all of them flavored with some hop flower, as well as your sauces and toppings, all from a piece of paper which you then bring to the counter. You can also pair your burger with some good fries, which come in big enough servings that one will be enough for two, even three people, and fresh beer on tap.
The owners of the place are also in charge of “Revelation Cat”, an excellent beer brand that likes to experiment with different ingredients and always pumps out good beer, which I definitely recommend since it is hard to find anywhere else.
During the summer they have a big terrace where you can enjoy your meal but I always prefer the main room on the ground floor with its huge hop plant and beautiful wood counter. The staff is friendly and ready to help you with any questions you might have and it is worth mentioning that the music playing is always on point. It might not be the easiest place to get to with public transportation, but if you take those extra five minutes to get there, you will not be disappointed. And also, where else are you going to find hopburgers?
