Nestled in the heart of Rotterdam, Harvest Cafe & Bakery has become one of my most appealing spots lately. Other than my favorite Ramen place, I’ve rarely waited in such a long line for food. 🙂 However, when it comes to desserts and delicious coffee, I can bend my rules a bit!

This place has definitely won my heart with its warm and friendly staff, high-quality, freshly baked artisanal sweets, and a variety of coffee brewing methods. On our visit, we tried the cold brew coffee, Danish pastries, and Spandauer pastries to share. I particularly loved the crispy pastry crust, the basil custard in the Spandauer, and the coffee’s rich flavor. They also offer delicious food options, and while the cafe has a nice interior, it did feel a bit busy and rushed, which was quite different from the typical Rotterdam vibe in my mind. Nevertheless, I plan to visit frequently. Oh, and don’t leave without trying their super crunchy baguettes!
