Just a couple of years ago the area around the Hofplein station and Hofbogen were kind of sketchy. Luckily, a make-over changed things and now the Hofbogen is a lively area with shops, restaurants and bars. MONO is a great example of the recent changes.
MONO is situated opposite the Hofbogen, just a short walk from Bird and Hofplein. The place is difficult to characterize, since you could visit it to drink a coffee, have something to eat, look at art or dance the night away. MONO offers everything of the above. So, basically every moment is a moment to visit MONO.
Almost every weekend MONO houses a party and they try to be as original as can be. What every party has in common is dancing. When the legs give out and you’re tired of dancing you can sit in the chair and relax. Careful though, more often than not the chairs made me sleepy and getting up was difficult.
Entrance is always free and you can only pay by card.
