It’s the greenest rooftop I’ve ever seen in Rotterdam. That’s because it is filled with flowers and plants, organic vegetables, edible flowers, herbs – all of them are used in the dishes that are being served to you at this restaurant.
They have bees too! But they like their peace and quiet, so keep your respectful distance from these hard workers.
On a warm day, this is the perfect spot to enjoy a refreshing beer while gazing at the rooftops of Rotterdam’s Center – Laurens Kerk, for example, is difficult to miss.
There are tables outside and inside. The service is quick and casual. I ordered a big orange juice and it was served with half a slice of orange in the glass and I liked this presentation a lot – it’s a little detail that makes a great difference. The latte with almond milk was creamy and delicious.
They offer a fresh menu that focuses on the current season with products from farmers and producers in the region.
For beers, the choice is local and varied.
This is my favourite place for brunch on weekends, since it’s open until 17:00.
Challenge: instead of taking the elevator to the 7th floor, take the stairs like I did – all the goodness upstairs felt very well deserved.
