If you’re done exploring Oude Haven, the Cubic Houses, Markthal and Sint Laurens Kerk it’s time for a refreshing break at Sajoer, located in a nice inner court where a few other cafes and vintage shops will entice your interest.
This cozy little cafe will take care of your tired legs and will lift up your spirit. The menu is full of temptations but they are the safe type.
You can choose between high-quality coffee, fresh juice combinations, smoothies, healthy breakfast options and even soups and cakes. Kids will be happy too because there are peanut butter sandwiches with banana or vegan toasties on offer especially for them.
I always go there on Saturdays after yoga and my regulars are chai latte with almond milk and the mangolicious bowl with mango, banana, almond milk, dates and lime. Beat that combination, if you can!
The girls are quick to take your order and prepare it with utmost care and creativity. Your breakfast bowl will look like a piece of art!
It’s a bit noisy inside because of the continuous effort of the coffee machine and juicers but the taste compensates entirely for this minor discomfort.
You will leave energised and with a happy belly.
