Club A2 was opened by professional musicians to get an accessible and comfortable concert spot without wicked ticket pricing and with plenty of space. This was needed both by music groups that couldn’t find a place with nice acoustics to play at — and for people who need to listen to good quality music at a welcoming place for a fair price.
Sadly, not that many huge foreign musicians come to Russia due to politics and to the ruble falling but some do, and then there are locals playing, too.
Several years ago A2 owners took the old Printing Machines Factory and totally renewed it. Now they have two concert halls: in total more than 5,000 people can come at once.
Tip: pick the Russian band/musician name from the schedule and search for it on YouTube. Would you want to come to their gig? Then book your tickets!
