Addis is a special coffeehouse where I go to get into a special mood & for good conversations. If you just want to have a coffee on the go – it’s not the right place. Be ready to hang out here for a long time.
Addis’s target audience consists mostly of close friends and their friends. Don’t be afraid to join in on the conversation with baristas about coffee, books, music, or LARPing. And soon you’ll become a part of the inner circle yourself.
If you’re lucky, you’ll catch Marina, owner and creator of the cafe. She’ll make a simple coffee serving feel like a theatrical performance.
The main feature of Addis is their creativity at coffee making. Want something special? Describe to the barista the mood or feeling you expect and he’ll make a cup specially for you. Like vintage? Try a cup of classic coffee out of a 100-year-old coffee machine. Want something more exotic? Participate in the unique Ethiopian coffee ceremony that will get you familiar with the ancient tradition of brewing and consuming the coffee.
Whatever the case may be, you’ll have a wonderful time at Addis.
If you speak Russian, I recommend you read the articles on Addis’ page. There are wonderful texts and stories there.
