A friend asked me if I still liked sushi and rolls (Japanese fell out of fashion a decade ago and many spots had started offering burgers and coffee instead of raw fish).
“Only if they’re vegan”, I answered.
Eating at Healthy Conscience presented me with ‘caviar’ from seaweed, ‘cheese’ from cashews and lots of other changes which eventually made rolls way better (and I felt better after eating).
This tiny spot is operated by people who are in love with veg food and a no-harm philosophy — you don’t need to be vegan or a raw eater to try their cuisine but you might like it anyway.
They also make salads, pasta, smoothies, sweets, and desserts. You can order takeaway (see the full menu with pictures on the website).
St. Pete has lots of veg options and even Muscovites envy the choice we have in general. But this spot is a hidden gem, even locals usually do not know about it.
