The building of Hygge cafe & hostel is hard not to notice when you pass by, especially in the evening. A soft warm light on the facade hints at the hygge atmosphere inside.
Hygge occupies a small 2-storey house on Nekrasov street. On the 1st floor there is a small cafe, on the 2nd floor there is a hostel. I wasn’t at the hostel, but I’m a haunter of the cafe. I used to work nearby and went there for lunch. Lunches are fantastic here! For 250 rubles you get soup, salad, second and drink. It’s always very delicious!
Now I visit Hygge less often, mainly for a breakfast at weekends. Breakfast is served every day from 10:00 to 12:00, and it also costs 250 rubles. Usually I choose pancakes and cappuccino.
I really like the interior: quaint, a bit retro, softly lit. My favorite table is with a sofa by the window, although it’s cozy everywhere.
