Kompaniya is not a place to visit every day, but rather for special occasions, since it isn’t cheap. But when we want gourmet cuisine, we go there.
We first came here 3 years ago, when the gastrobar just opened. I can say with confidence that, in 3 years, the kitchen here has not become worse and the service is still on the level.
For me, a feature of this place is that they use products that are quite traditional for authentic Russian cuisine (horseradish, potatoes, meat, oats) but which are prepared in a modern, elegant and interesting way. There are also dishes with Georgian, Italian or oriental character.
Alas, some of my favorite dishes were removed from the menu (for example, the rabbit with oats), but others that are no less tasty were added. I recommend the beef cheeks with mashed potatoes – it’s just a dream for a lover of meat dishes.
If you like wine, then you will definitely appreciate their good selection of wines. Personally, I recommend the Riesling: it is light and tasty. It is always only what I drink.
