In the past year, there’s been a coffee revolution in St. Pete.
Now, you can buy take-out coffee on every corner. Shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bookstores — nearly everyone got that coffee is essential when sunny days are a scarce resource.
But that doesn’t mean you get NICE coffee on every corner. So the coffee hunt became even more interesting.
One of my fresh findings is Pitcher. The coffee spot in the center of the city is tiny; it shares the door with a flower shop. It’s not crowded and I guess not so many people know of it. And the coffee is good.
They can make not only “latte” or “raf”, they have Chemex, Aeropress, Kalita (and they use fresh roasted coffee beans while experimenting with tastes).
If you’re a regular, use their card with stickers and get the seventh cup for free.
Check out the bright-colored map of St.Pete on the wall inside of Pitcher! I’ve witnessed them painting it.
