I came here on some lazy Sunday morning to get myself a good cup of coffee with some boring pastry. Instead, I ate some yummy home-cooked brunch (“tasting set”, they call it) — they say it’s new every weekend! I try to visit more often to get to know the chef’s choice better. The coffee was terrific, too (I expected that).
I wouldn’t say they served the food very fast, but it was the weekend, and I was happy to sit there and enjoy the atmosphere. Some people chatted, someone wrote in their diary, many came for the weekend brunch. There’s no wi-fi in order to empower human-to-human chatting.
All the food served here is prepared from scratch (including sauces). All the coffee beans are chosen carefully from selected roasters. You feel like you’ve been taken care of.
The cafe is small, but tables might become communal as some people come alone (myself included).
There are also breakfasts from Monday to Friday, but I work those days, so you have to find that out on your own.
