This Interactive shop was the first nice clothing store in St. Petersburg I found when I came here as a tourist more than ten years ago and it remains a place to find new pieces (of local design brands) now. They call themselves Yunost’ which means ‘youth’ but I get things there that fit my 32-years-old self – or am I still young?
It’s a place to see what casual wear Russian designers are making right now and even buy something – it is not that expensive. I like the asymmetrical hoodies by Noel Concept, for example.
There is also a lot of imported streetwear and some skateboards (see the picture).
There are also lots of pins, socks, plastic jewelry, handmade-brooches, colored headphones, rucksacks, bags and other ideas for random gifts. You know, sometimes you have no idea what a person needs – or a person really doesn’t need anything at all (but you still would like to get them something local). Yunost’ has such things for you to browse (check the latest news and look for the products on their VK fan page). Currently cash-only.
For more geeky stuff head to Respublika on the same street (Malaya Sadovaya, 3).
