I’m an admitted Airbnb addict. One of my favorite ways to spend free time (or time that I should be working) is searching their site for for an apartment to rent in a foreign country. So…when I inadvertently discovered (more about that below) the public atrium of the Airbnb lobby, I was thrilled! It’s a big open space with bright-colored lounging areas, a coffee bar, open floors above, interesting architectural details, art and light streaming through the glass ceiling.
Now, about how I discovered the Airbnb lobby…one evening, while dining at Bellota which is just adjacent, I exited the back door of Bellota to find the restrooms and voila, I found myself in the Airbnb lobby atrium! I had no idea it was there and felt like I had uncovered the secret passageway! So, if you happen to be in the area after hours and want to experience the Airbnb lobby beyond peering through the glass front doors, pop into Bellota for a cocktail and some paella and when you go to use the bathroom, you’ll find yourself in the atrium, yay!
