Gallery Boris Smoje is a lovely gathering place for everyone who enjoys an unpretentious, easygoing atmosphere, sitting on almost broken chairs…perfect for people who enjoy looking at walls covered with paintings and all that while sipping a cup of coffee.
It’s one of my favourite places no matter what time of the year or day. It’s a place where I feel at home, where I can sit both alone and read newspapers during my break, or have a drink with a bunch of friends. The people working there are really great with a good sense of humor and attitude. Lots of locals go out there and it’s almost always full. The coffee’s good, the wine and cherry rakia are too. The interior is charming, with some old parts of furniture, like coffee tables. Their first neighbor is the earlier mentioned Spazio café, so chances are that you will find a table in one of these places. They often have exhibitions, so you can also enjoy and/or buy some of them.
If you generally like the mixture of a gallery and café, then come by and feel at home surrounded by locals. If you only enjoy posh places, come by nevertheless. Traveling is all about changing the perspective and gallery Boris Smoje is a great place for you to start.
