Just in front of the Eternal Flame, at the juncture of Titova and Ferhadija street, you will find one entrance which you wouldn’t even notice if you were just strolling along those streets. Now you have a good reason to notice it and check what’s inside.
The elevator will take you up to the 9th floor to hotel Hotel Hecco Deluxe. Pass the reception and go straight upstairs. The 10th floor hides a small hotel restaurant which (after breakfast) is a simple coffee place which serves coffee with an amazing view over the city. A narrow terrace goes along all four sides of the building and you can walk on all sides, take a look at how Sarajevo looks in all its corners, take some cool photos …and have a coffee once you get tired of taking photos. The terrace itself is very simple and bare, just an old school white fence and white tables and chairs along the sides…but it’s accessory is a top notch.
I often go there when it’s warm outside and I don’t mind when I can’t find a place to sit. Sometimes all you need is a perfect view to make your day, even if it is just for a few minutes. 🙂
