Right in the very midtown business area of the city, where everyday life keeps repeating its hectic flow, there’s a rabbit hole that you can crawl into and disappear from reality for a while.
Old School Cafe is the perfect spot for a coffee break during the busy workday but also the hideaway to stop stress, the daily routine, prying eyes and all of life’s troubles. This place makes me feel like I’m not in Sarajevo, or at least not here at this time. It’s like a time portal that takes me to a wonderland where soft music pleasantly whispers into my ears.
When the coffee gets served on my table I can’t help but think that the staff poured a few drops of love, a handful of intimacy and a dose of “I feel you” into my cup. If I look around, I see other regular visitors thinking the same. The regulars are small groups of friends who meet there to share their daily “problems”, but also the passersby who are in a need of a quick escape from actuality.
In all its tininess, Old School Cafe cherishes the locals by a sensation of being at home while floating in another dimension.
