Rahatlook is interesting name which pronounced in a Bosnian accent actually means happy-go-lucky in English. It’s a place where I often enjoy casual coffee with homemade desserts. Rahatlook is situated in the old part of town, just a passage away from the main pedestrian street Ferhadija.
What I like about Rahatlook is definitely their service and details. They are always kind, inviting, unpretentious and always paying attention to the small details. It’s a small place, but there’s a big patio outside with nice shade during those hot summer afternoons. What they offer is regular coffee, Bosnian coffee (which is stronger), tea served in cute cups, different traditional drinks and often homemade, tasty cakes.
It’s a really charming little place with interesting details, mostly old, but renovated. I like their differently painted old wooden chairs and their old-fashioned kitchen instead of the usual bar. If it’s available, me and my friends sit at the kitchen island and chat or just watch things be prepared in the kitchen. The island is always filled with fruit baskets and fresh homemade cakes, which is the reason I actually feel like I’m sitting in my friend’s kitchen, chatting and feeling relaxed. Just as its name says.
