”Ramis” is really, really great pastry shop located in the very beginning of the street Saraci when walking from Ferhadija street. In this area there are so many pastry shops, but this one is the best…and the oldest. It has a tradition dating back to 1912.

I like Ramis because of their mix of modern and traditional cakes. They have a long tradition of baking cakes but they have managed to modernize their offer. And I can say for sure that everything is so delicious. I prefer their rich, chocolate cakes, but for someone who’s in Sarajevo for the first time, it would be interesting to try the more traditional ones, like baklava, tufahija and hurmasica.

Recently they have renovated the place, but for me it would be the same even if they hadn’t. It’s one of those places where the interior is not so important – just the variety of dessert choices. Sometimes just walking by this place and a simple look at the cakes will entice you in. Don’t hold back…go inside and enjoy!
