I’m not a photographer. I enjoy photography, I have a decent eye for good pictures, I love seeing what other talented people can do with a camera but it’s definitely a hobby and not a profession for me. That being said, on the days I decide to pretend to be a photographer, Golden Gardens is by far my favorite place to be.
Even in the winter, Golden Gardens is still just as gorgeous as ever. And it’s a perfect opportunity to get a bonfire going with some friends!
Golden Gardens is a beach park it has a lot to offer scenery wise. There are plenty of photogenic spots between the gorgeous Puget Sound, Bainbridge Island that is visible in the distance, the contrast of the black rocks with the light sand, the forested areas around the park, and the train tracks that pass right by the park.
So if you’re looking for a place to spend some time with nature, Golden Gardens is that place. Make sure to bring your camera and it’s never a bad idea to have fire/s’more materials handy either!
