Li’l Woody’s menu is limited: burgers, French fries and (massive) onion rings, plus shakes made with Full Tilt ice cream. I’m a fan of little restaurants that focus on getting a handful of dishes right, and Li’l Woody’s does just that.
My personal favorite is the Li’l Woody – hold the onions. For $5.00 I get a perfectly balanced cheeseburger that fits in the palm of my hand. It’s also my 8 year old’s favorite thing to get there, and it’s the perfect size for her. For a few more dollars, get the “Big Woody” – it’s a bigger cheeseburger and comes with bacon. When I’m not in the mood for their grass-fed beef, I get the salmon burger, which is delicious and loaded up with Mama’s Li’l peppers, which add a LOT of flavor. (You can also ask for them on the side. They’re very tangy with some spice.) They usually have a special burger that changes every week. And for vegetarians and non-dairy folks, there is a very good bean burger, and root beer floats with vegan ice cream.
You can also get Mexican Coke, beers, ciders, and other drinks. The staff is friendly but you don’t get full table service here – they expect you to bus your own. But for under $8 you can get a really great, no-fuss burger that will hit the spot!
