Sometimes the style of a building or an inside aesthetic is enough to draw you to a restaurant or bar. Unfortunately, just because it looks cool doesn’t necessarily mean that the food and drinks will live up to the expectations. Fortunately, Machine House Brewery is one of those places that does.
With authentic cask-conditioned ales on tap, this is a can’t miss place in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood. It’s located in the former home of the Seattle Brewing & Malting Company so the building is rich with a history that likely whispers to your taste buds.
They’ll have plenty of true English-style beers on tap that will leave you wanting to try the next one, and the next one after that. The Porter is generally my go-to, but you can’t go wrong with whatever small batch brew you eye up. Grab a seat outside and soak in the old-school ambiance, or hop on a couch inside and kick it with some local dogs who will surely be bouncing around during the day.
