Sisters & Brothers is the place to get your fix for the hot fried chicken, Nashville style in Seattle. Their menu is short, simple and just about fried hot chicken. The best thing about this place is that I can customize my fried chicken according to spice level (from mild to insane) and type of chicken (white/dark/boneless/wings). I personally like their dark chicken with medium spice level the most. Their spice sauce is made of special Nashville style hot chicken spices. They also have some Fried chicken sandwiches and fried tomato sandwiches. Their sides are absolutely delicious as well, especially the mac ‘n cheese and fried okra. Their weekend brunch menu includes the friend chicken and waffle and that’s it, simple and cooked to perfection.
They also have a full bar but it’s more focused on beer due to its southern tavern style atmosphere and food menu. It’s located a little bit in the outskirts of Seattle in the Georgetown neighborhood but it’s totally worth making a trip. This place is pretty small and starts getting full around evening time and they don’t take reservations so expect little bit of wait time to get in. I usually like to come around 17:00 in order to avoid the rush time or later in the evening around 21:00 but sometimes they run out of food by that time.
