The Neighbor Lady, the name says it all and is precisely why I like this place. This is a true neighborhood watering hole. Walking into this place you’ll quickly become friends with the local characters within a couple pints and a few decent cocktails.
The decor is quirkily Victorian but still comfortable and cozy. The atmosphere is very low key and inviting, almost like an old living room. I often stop by solo after work and end up losing track of time getting filled in on the latest neighborhood news.
The Neighbor Lady also has quite decent food, getting creative with the typical bar food fare. If you’re hungry, order one of their specials which has included falafel burgers and pork belly sliders in the past. Definitely a little more exciting and tasty than your typical burger and fries.
The Neighbor Lady is the spot if you want to grab a pint and relax in a homey environment or catch the football game.
