As you may have read in some of my previous blog posts I tend to visit and recommend the Old Bazaar a lot, and for a good reason, too. Apart from being a magical place itself, it also caters to some pretty amazing and hidden places worth visiting, Galerija 7 (Gallery 7) is one of my favorites.
Ever since my friend invited me to go and try a very famous and delicious Turkish pizza-like food called lahmacun at one of his close friend’s restaurant I fell in love with the food and the place. It doesn’t get any more oriental than Galerija 7 folks! The place is an echo of the past that resonates through the wonderful food that they prepare, the amazing ayran (a salty variant of yogurt is as close as I can get with the definition) and the strong Turkish tea.
Galerija 7 is so amazing that it also attracts a cool breed of people as well. Last year a couple left a few love notes under the glass of the table and it soon became a thing inspiring others to do the same and also to wish each other a Happy New Year. What will your amazing story in Galerija 7 be?
