Vegan and rich
There are many fast food shops in the city, but only one which offers healthy macrobiotic and vegetarian specialities. This restaurant has been dedicated to creating food as medicine. The first in Skopje for this kind of kitchen, their food is perfect for nurturing and combating health problems.
The tittle speaks for itself: Harmonija – harmony food – balance in energy. Because it's very close to my home, when I don’t have an idea for breakfast, I choose “Harmonija” to taste some of their inventive meals. Just a pleasant smell inside is enough for me to make me feel calm. I sense the variety of spices: curry, fennel, cumin, turmeric, cinnamon... Every day they make something new: Mexican beans with pumpkin in tortilla, burgers with legume patties, caramelized organic carrots, fruit cakes without sugar, stuffed tomatoes with whole-grain rice, vegetables and seitan, millet with spinach, etc…
It is really hard choosing what to order from all these super-fresh and healthy foods. And the owner Tanja is always so welcoming and open to explaining the details about each meal and their nutritious value. She has helped many people change their way of eating from unhealthy to the total opposite.
