This place elevated soups to the status of a main dish. It was the first place in Sofia to offer mainly soups but still enjoys quite some popularity which is absolutely deserved.
Every day there are at least 6 different kinds of soups with recipes from all over the world. Usually there are both vegetarian and meat options.
Sometimes the choice is slimmer because some of the soups have already been eaten. This usually happens after lunch and just before they close in the evening.
Let me prove to you just how delicious their soups are. I hate blue cheese. However, one evening I was quite hungry and wanted to eat at Supa Star but the only option left was… blue cheese soup. I decided to brave it and surprisingly for me I enjoyed it very very much. Thumbs up! Even the celery soup was not bad!
If you think “just soup?!”, they also have some sandwiches and salads but the soups are definitely the highlight of this place.
I usually like to sit on the cosy second floor where you have really nice colourful chairs and interesting paintings on the walls. The ceiling is a bit low so if you claustrophobic, that’s not the place for you.
