About me

About me
My adventures in the city usually include trying new food, good whiskey, and exploring anything that gives me a new perspective on something. I have lived in the DC area my whole life but also love exploring other cities. My current favorites are San Diego and Chicago. By day, I work in marketing in the travel industry.

Why Washington DC
I have always been a bit of an early American history buff so I love being so close the buildings and museums that hold so much of our history. However, underneath the politics, there are booming businesses in travel, media, and art. It’s a more creative town than most people give it credit for. This also means new places to eat and drink are popping up all the time!

I also love that there is a lot of green space in the city. There are big spaces like Rock Creek Park and the National Arboretum but also smaller, neighborhood parks where you can find music and art.

Where else can you find me online?

"Dirty Habit" Washington DC is one of the prettiest patio bars in the city, and it's pretty hidden! As a whiskey girl, I tend to get their Old Fashioned!
