Isdammen

Isdammen – A meeting place in nature

Isdammen is known as a fishing lake in the summer months, but one can also go ice skating there during the winter (as the lakes in Oslo are usually frozen because of the low temperatures, as one would expect).

Sunt og godt cafe – A jungle of colour

The place is a jungle, full of green plants, fruits, and vegetables - a real explosion of color that satisfies all of your senses. I have tasted some of the most amazing raw cakes here.

About me

About me
Hi! I am Miranda! I have been living in Oslo with my family since 2012. I have always been enthusiastic about Vikings and Norse mythology and that is why I learned the Norwegian language about 10 years before moving here! I really enjoy the cool summers in Oslo and moving around in the city to find hidden gems and coffee places all by chance.

Why Oslo
I really love Oslo because it is a very small capital full of hidden cafes! And it combines amazing nature with big city amenities, almost all within walking distance from each other.
