Just recently, Stockholm Stadshotell opened its doors in Södermalm, Stockholm. This is a small hotel with a nice bar and two restaurants. Summertime guests are also welcome to the patio bar. The Stadshotell (City hotel in Swedish) aims for a high-quality of products and service. The ambiance is elegant, correct and inviting. The staff is very attentive.

I have been a few times in the cozy bar for some really nice cocktails. I am a bit of a classic "man", and I enjoy, from time to time, a good Dry Martini. Gin Martini, of course. The House martini at Stockholm Stadshotell is very good. Dry in the way I like it, and I always go for a lemon twist instead of the classic olives. The bar itself is not so big, but there is an extra room to use if it becomes very busy.

As a bar, they also offer a great wine list and chilled champagnes. They do make great cocktails, both very well-balanced and presented. I have to say it is very instagramable too :-) I think this is a great place to have a drink before going out to dinner or just bring your best friend or maybe a date to enjoy a good drink in a great place.
