In Stockholm, sushi bars can be found around almost every corner. And for me and my friends, it’s the obvious lunch choice.
Yet, it’s actually rare to bump into those that have alcohol licensing. And let’s agree that lazy vacay stroll or that extra-long shopping spree simply triggers your thirst for something foamy and cold…
Sushi-Ya is a great day off lunch stop, not only because of its variety of beers. The mix of welcoming familiar staff, freshly made pieces where they often put something extra to try on your plate, as well as its location in the very heart of SoFo make it an “ordinary sushi” perfect for an extended lunch.
Since there’s a lot of cafés, bars and small boutiques in the surrounding area as well, you can simply continue your lazy strolling afterwards.
NOTE: Google says “closed between 2 and 5 pm”, but give them a ring before to confirm. Because last time I was there they stayed open for us anyway!
