Well finally! It took many years for the Italian ice-cream masters to open up a decent gelato place in Estonia. These guys are the pioneers, funny as it is. The place is well hidden, but actually on the very street that is the shortest way from Old Town to Toompea hill. And before climbing up it is a perfect idea to refresh yourself with ever-so tasty Italian ice-cream.
Just step in and choose from a wide range of possibilities. Classics such as pistachio and berry flavours are of course present. Also, the good mannered guys serve excellent coffee and even a shot of the stronger stuff, if you ask. Service is as friendly as it can be, they already speak some Estonian too if you happen to master it.
The place is of course infested with kids, but they are awkwardly quiet. Calmed down with the ice cream I guess… A place to go, even when it’s snowing outside! Just visited, and it’s still as popular as it is during warmer times. As the winter is nearly over, lots of people rediscover the place again. Just went and there was a line! Crazy northeners, huh?
