Garage is a restaurant that offers you a wide variety of pizzas and pastas in the district of Lasnamäe – the biggest district of Tallinn. Although the place is located on the outskirts of Tallinn, it does offers delivery, but it’s still worth visiting. Tallinn is a developing city and cool places are now popping up, and not only in the city centre.
The eye-capturing detail is the huge stone oven where the pizza is baked. The chef of Garage is a real Italian, so you can be sure you’ll find the food really delicious. My favorite one is the Pizza Al Frutti Di Mare, a large seafood pizza with mussels.
I also value the possibility of making a pizza yourself. You just need to pick the ingredients from a list. The place can be crowded in the evenings, so it is better to go during lunch time, since there are no business districts close by.
By the way, Garage is located in a real garage for cars, and people still use the upper floors to park their cars.
The place is 20 minutes away from the city center by bus, but if you have free time, go for a visit and explore Tallinn’s biggest district.
