Hotokas is the first hot dog restaurant in Tallinn — and Estonia! These are not your regular sausage-bun-ketchup trio; these guys take on a whole new challenge to deliver some interesting spin on the regular working-class street food that you can get at any pit stop.
The menu is not big but you can try more traditional New York-style ones as well as Estonia dill-hapukoor-beetroot mix to get closer to Estonian food culture. There are vegetarian options, as well as something for children, so you are welcome to bring your family and non-meat eating friends.
The place has wonderful inner yard terrace which is a perfect getaway from the touristy Old Town, since it is conveniently located on the footsteps of our busiest town aria. Try out their dessert options, in house made donuts with sweet cottage cheese.
Small local tip: order to-go and enjoy your food in the Deer park (Hirve Park) nearby, if Estonian weather lets you 😉
