If you are in need of some ice cream in Tallinn, then give La Muu ice cream cafe in Telliskivi quarter a try. The cafe is right by La Muu’s small ice cream factory – the first Estonian organic ice cream producer, since 2012.
La Muu produces ice cream and sorbets in a wide range of flavors to choose from. The flavor list is also available on La Muu’s homepage, but the factory cafe has always managed to surprise me with its exclusive offers – I struck gold when ordering the maple syrup bacon ice cream and the highly photogenic black ice cream. You can have yours in a cup or in a cone. And while the culture of food samples and asking to taste a product before purchasing is still taking its baby steps in Estonia, in La Muu cafe they make it happen.
On the wall there is a whiteboard to recommend La Muu new flavors – if you have some exclusive ice cream flavors in the country you are visiting from, do use the opportunity to include your suggestions.
