Terminal A harbor area is not usually where you find Tallinn locals, unless they work nearby or are rushing to catch a ferry to Helsinki. But there is one eatery that is definitely loved by locals – Papa Joe.
Located in the building of Sadama Turg, a market by the harbor, Papa Joe prepares delicious falafel and hummus dishes and is vegan-friendly. The inside seating area is small and simple, but once you have your order and if the weather permits, just step outside and enjoy your (award-winning!) street food while strolling along the yacht harbor.
The prizes vary around 5-7 Euros depending if you prefer falafel or meat. Papa Joe has also a small selection for olives, oils and staples to make your own falafels happen. And to top off your visit, get some baklava and Turkish coffee.
If taking a day trip to Helsinki, grab your wrap or pita from Papa Joe instead of investing into an overpriced ham and cheese sandwich at the ferry canteen.
