This place makes me want to become a poet.
Café Runo (“Café Poem”) is a beautiful café with huge windows and two floors (upstairs is my favorite!). If two floors are not enough for you, take a seat outside where they have a table all-year-round. Café Runo offers homemade sweet and salty treats for its customers. They bake everything with organic flour and all the vegetables they use are from a local organic farm. The coffee comes from local roastery and the coffee beans are always freshly ground. It also has a huge selection of different kinds of teas and cold soft drinks.
If you want to do something while sipping your coffee, you can read a book of poetry they have in the bookshelf, look at the art exhibitions on the walls or play the piano downstairs.
Café Runo is located on Ojakatu street which has Parisian romantic charm and it is actually my favorite street in the whole city! When I walk along Ojakatu street, I always imagine myself being in Paris.
