This is the loveliest store of vintage fashion in town. The collection is female-oriented, so, ladies, here is the place to haunt for your next exclusive dress, bag or earrings. The owner of the store handpicks the best vintage clothes and high-quality accessories from Germany, England, US, France, Sweden and Finland. The assortment of jewellery is large and you will definitely find something to match either your current look or the dress you just put your eye on.
The service is exceptional too. I love talking to the owner and I appreciate the fact that together with the purchase I always carry the story of the item. It’s always nice to know the history of the second-hand dress you’re about to buy, right? Or at least the country of its origin and the year it was made. Dresses here do have a history and it adds up a lot to the irresistible charm of this boutique.
The only downside is that the working hours are pretty short, and that’s the reason I end up window shopping here more than actually shopping. Every time I pass by, I stop by the window with the new dress in it and promise myself to go home from work earlier next time. But a sustainable fashion lover on vacation can surely make it here before 5pm. By the way, the store is part of the design route developed by Design On Tampere, an association of local designers that promotes design culture in the city.
