I have to admit: my mum found this spot. If you like to stand somewhere and watch cars whiz by, capture how the sky changes as the sun sets, or see the lights of apartment buildings turn on as night falls, this is the perfect spot for you. The views are like no other. I like to walk by this exact spot especially to get a sense of open space that many cities tend to lack. Two parks, the Polish Cathedral, and many restaurants and cafes are within reach here.
Located on Taraqqiyot road bridge right above Abdulla Qodiriy highway, this viewing spot gives you the altitude to look at some of Tashkent’s tallest apartment buildings, and at the same time, a great big open sky. To find this spot, go to the Eko Park south entrance, turn so that it is on your left-hand side, and walk to the bridge. Voila!
