Not so many years ago, it was pretty difficult to find a place with really good coffee in Tbilisi. Decent, yes; good, not so much. Fortunately, this tendency has been changing over the past five years or so. Today, establishments that offer you a good coffee are growing in number. But even among those, some are standing out. Coffee Lab is one such place.
In Coffee Lab, they take your coffee very seriously; because there is no such thing as just coffee. Here your coffee is treated as science. Of course, you get all the most common brews, like cappuccino or espresso, but the real pride & joy of this place are the aeropress series. You will be offered to choose from a variety of beans. Once ready, your coffee will arrive in a lab flask, accompanied by a small card that tells you about the origin and processing of the beans you chose.
Coffee Lab also offers a well-balanced lunch menu. Prices are a little higher than average, but the quality of the food is absolutely worth it. Take the time to explore their desserts.
The minimalist urban interior enhances the concept of the place. Here, black, brown, green, steel, and wood prevail on both floors. Coffee Lab is located in the depths of a small park on Kazbegi Avenue, so if you take a seat near the large glass window, you’ll be watching the park trees. The place is great for work, especially in the morning and afternoon hours.
