A warm latte, somewhere cozy and quiet, where I can write my music and contemplate.
Prospero’s Books is one of my favorite spots in Tbilisi. It’s not only because they have great lattes, but because regular customers consist of mostly freelancers, artists, musicians and book lovers. Because of that, you’re sure not to be disturbed while working and contemplating your next big project. It’s also perfect for a quick lunch, or for your meetings.
Prospero’s Books is the first coffee shop in Tbilisi to introduce Georgian folks to the American concept of the bookstore coffeehouse. So, if you love books, you’re in luck: at Prospero’s you can find a great selection of English books; from New York Time’s bestsellers to modern classics. You can also find many books about Georgian cuisine, wine, and history.
The prices at Prospero’s are reasonable: you can get a Cappuccino for 5 GEL ($2 .10) or an Espresso for 3 GEL ($1.40). There’s free WIFI, and plenty of sockets for your laptop.
