Tehran local? Help us start a blog for your city!

Tehran (by Hosein Charbaghi)

One of the next city guides we would like to launch as part of our fight against overtourism is Tehran, the capital of Iran!

Unfortunately, to most travelers, Tehran (and Iran in general) is either surrounded by misconceptions or a complete mystery, which is a shame because it has a lot to offer. We know that there is plenty to love about Tehran, and we need your help to prove this to the rest of the world!

Tajrish Grand Bazaar, Tehran (by Farzad Mohsenvand)

Tehran has a variety of beautiful tourist attractions such as the Golestan Palace, the National Jewelry Treasury, the Tabiat Bridge, Darband, and Milad Tower. It also has plenty of other, hidden spots, that few other than locals would know of. However, to many travelers, most of Tehran’s beauty remains a mystery. As such, we need you, locals of Tehran, to show the world what you love about your city.

So what is it like to experience Tehran like a local? Where can you get the best coffee or local baghali polo? Where do locals relax or celebrate? This is what we and many travelers want to know!

Are you a Tehran loving local?

We aim to show visitors (and locals!) the real culture of Tehran beyond the tourist highlights. We are looking for locals who’d like to share their passion and spread the word about Tehran by blogging about their favorite spots. Browse around our current 80+ city blogs and learn more about our amazing community & vision!
