Agnes Pub – Beer, blues and guilty pleasures

I was so happy to find out that a new place had opened in my neighborhood, It’s actually the bar closest to where I live – so it’s probably going to be my local dive bar, a place where you can go for a drink wearing nothing but flip flops, shorts and a tank (typical Israeli outfit for summer).

Agnes pub is nice, well designed and with a great playlist. They play smooth blues music, serves more then 15 beers on tap and have delicious food such as great pizzas, burgers and other guilty pleasures.

When I went there I tried Alexander Green – an Israeli IPA beer which was strong and bitter with great aroma. We also ate the pizza which was thin and crispy and felt like it was made with super fresh ingredients.

Agnes Pub is located in Levinsky Market neighborhood in a very quiet and chill area, which somehow reminds me of Williamsburg Brooklyn – where you can go in a dark quiet street and find a really cool dive bar for midnight beer or happy hour.
