The “Bakery” on Dizengoff is one of this chain’s five different locations in Tel Aviv. Owned by R2M group which has many famous restaurants in the city such as Coffee Bar, Hotel Montefiorie and Brasserie M&R, Bakery offers fresh pastries, breads and coffee, all French inspired.
Many locals spend their morning reading a newspaper while sipping an espresso in the small outside seating area or ordering the famous salmon and cream cheese bagel off the counter before running to work.
The location is great as it’s not far from the beach and parks, making it easy and convenient to stop by and get some assorted cheese, macarons and chilled Cava for a fun picnic day.
Bakery is branded as a very high end patisserie and when you shop and sit there, you feel like you went on a quick trip to Paris, a feeling R2M is delivering in most of their establishments around the city, so I recommend to explore their bars and restaurants as well!
Bakery is closed on Saturdays, and during late afternoons on weekdays they sell their breads and pastries on discount, creating long lines. I would skip waiting in line, as by the time you reach the counter, the bread you are looking for will most likely be taken!
