Branca bar is the cool kid in town: it just showed up one day, without any promotions, articles in Time Out or celebs tags on Instagram. But still, somehow, it was full from the first day it opened. How? Who knows – that’s the secret.

The place itself is small and has two parts with pretty different vibes – the outdoor is more social and loud, and the waiter suggests to small groups of people that don’t know each other to sit around the same tables – which I personally like. The indoor area is much darker and quiet – more suitable for a romantic date or for a drunken night at the bar at the end of the day.

And speaking of sitting by the bar – here’s a tip: The bartender, who is also the owner of the place – the one with the long hair that’s always smiling – is a super cool dude with an interesting life story, and also a great listener that has really good advice. If you’re looking for a nice conversation, go sit at the bar.

The place serves all kinds of drinks and cocktails – and even has draft IPA beer which is hard to find in TLV and is always a great plus – and also have food like sandwiches and snacks. So grab a friend and go have a drink!
